ஜனவரி 6, வியாழன் முதல் மாநிலத்தில் இரவு ஊரடங்கு உத்தரவு அமலுக்கு வரும் என்றும், கோவிட்-19 பரவுவதைத் தடுக்க ஞாயிற்றுக்கிழமைகளில் முழு ஊரடங்கு விதிக்கப்படும் என்றும் தமிழக அரசு புதன்கிழமை அறிவித்துள்ளது. மாநிலம் முழுவதும் சனிக்கிழமையன்று மெகா கோவிட்-19 தடுப்பூசி முகாம் நடைபெறும் என்று மாநில சுகாதார அமைச்சர் எம்.ஏ.சுப்பிரமணியன் தெரிவித்தார். 

மேலும் கட்டுப்பாடுகள் பற்றிய விவரங்கள் மற்றும் முதலமைச்சரின் அதிகாரப்பூர்வ உத்தரவுக்காக காத்திருக்கிறது. செவ்வாய்க்கிழமை சென்னை உட்பட ஐந்து மாவட்டங்களில் பெரும்பாலான புதிய கொரோனா வைரஸ் தொற்றுகள் ஏற்பட்டுள்ளன, ஏனெனில் தமிழகத்தில் 2,731 புதிய வழக்குகள் பதிவாகி, எண்ணிக்கை 27,55,587 ஆக உயர்ந்துள்ளது என்று சுகாதாரத் துறை தெரிவித்துள்ளது. ஒன்பது இறப்புகள் 36,805 ஆக பதிவாகியுள்ளன என்று 

ஒரு துறை புல்லட்டின் தெரிவித்துள்ளது. இன்று நேர்மறை சோதனை செய்தவர்களில் உள்நாடு மற்றும் வெளிநாடுகளில் இருந்து திரும்பிய 48 பேர் அடங்குவர். இதற்கிடையில், கோவிட் -19 இன் ஓமிக்ரான் மாறுபாட்டால் பாதிக்கப்பட்ட நபர்கள் மற்றும் இரண்டு டோஸ் தடுப்பூசிகளைப் பெற்ற நபர்கள் வீட்டிலேயே தனிமைப்படுத்தப்பட வேண்டும் என்றும், இது தொடர்பாக தேவையான வழிகாட்டுதல்களை சுகாதாரத் துறை வெளியிட்டுள்ளது என்றும் தமிழக அமைச்சர் மா.சுப்பிரமணியன் செவ்வாய்க்கிழமை தெரிவித்தார்.

 The Tamil Nadu government Wednesday announced that night curfew will come into force in the state from January 6, Thursday and that total lockdown will be imposed on Sundays to curb the spread of Covid-19. State Health Minister MA Subramanian said a mega Covid-19 vaccination camp will be held across the state on Saturday. Details on more restrictions and an official order from the Chief Minister are awaited.

Five districts, including Chennai, accounted for the majority of new coronavirus infections on Tuesday as Tamil Nadu continued to witness a surge with 2,731 fresh cases being reported, pushing the tally to 27,55,587, the health department said. Nine deaths were reported taking the toll to 36,805, a department bulletin said. Those who tested positive today included 48 returnees from domestic and overseas locations.

Meanwhile, individuals affected with the Omicron variant of Covid-19 and who have received two doses of vaccination are advised to be under home isolation and the health department has issued necessary guidelines in this connection, Tamil Nadu Minister Ma Subramanian said on Tuesday.
